About Coach Bill
Bill is the owner and Head Coach of the Webbs Tornadoes Swim team located in Norwell, MA. Bill started the team in 2013 and has coached hundreds of swimmers from ages 8-18 to reach their full potential in swim.

Prior to WTST, Bill held coaching positions at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Bentley University, Old Colony YMCA, South Shore Strypers and Black Rock Country Club.

Bill’s love for coaching started as a summer coach at Maplewood Community Pool, in Maplewood, NJ. Bill has 30 years of experience coaching and is an American Swim Coach Level 5 which is the highest attainable coaching level with USA Swimming.

COACH MARY McGUNNIGAL

About Coach Mary
Mary is a math teacher at Fontbonne Academy in Milton and has been coaching WTST with Bill Edward for 5 years.

Prior to coaching at WTST Mary coached recreational teams between 2009-2014. Mary has been teaching swimming lessons since 2007 and is first aid/cpr/lifeguard certified, and a a Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor.

ASSISTANT COACH EVAN BAXTER

About Coach Evan
Evan joined the WTST coaching team in 2018 and has made a positive impact working with our younger swimmers.

Evan is a former competitive swimmer with 10 years of experience teaching swim. He graduated from Bridgewater State University grad and is a History Teacher during the day.

Prior to joining the WTST coaching team he was the manager for the South Shore Country club for 3 years and has coached the Webb’s Pro Fitness developmental swim team, the Hurricanes. Evan is CPR and AED certified.

ASSISTANT COACH LARISSA BREWSTER

About Coach Larissa
Larissa is a lawyer and career advisor by day and a swim coach and swim lesson instructor by night and weekend. She specializes in stroke technique for beginner and intermediate level competitive swimmers.

Prior to joining the WTST coaching team, Larissa swam competitively at Bentley University, specializing in IM and butterfly, captaining the team her senior year, and becoming an assistant swim coach for Bentley during grad school.

ASSISTANT COACH RACHEL BOROCOV

About Coach Rachel
Rachel is a Sophomore nursing student at UMass Boston and newest member of the WTST Coaching team.

Rachel is a former WTST 2-year captain and has swam competitively for 7 years. Rachel is a skilled sprint swimmer and excelled in all 4 major swimming stroke - freestyle, backstroke, butterfly and breast stroke.

Rachel is CPR and AED certified.

WTST Returns to USA Speedo Sectional Meet

WTST was fortunate to travel to Plantation, Florida for the 2020 USA Speedo Sectional Meet and finished in 25th place. The team made an impressive showing in individual events and team relays. Congrats to Ava Burnham, finalist in 50 back-5th Place and 27th place in the 100 back. Elizabeth Galicki placed 32nd in the 50 back. **97% of the WTST swimmers achieved personal best times!**
